in your mailbox as you need it. Each package supports a farmer‘s child.
You know this explosion of aromas in your mouth? A good coffee has twice as much aromas as a red wine. Try our coffee and experience it yourself.
People hate running out of coffee, you too? With our subscription you choose the frequency, can modify or cancel at anytime, and never run out of coffee again.
Meet the people that make your coffee great. Follow your beans on their direct way from the rainforest tree, to the smallholder farmer, to the craft roaster to your cup.

You support a child in Ethiopia with every delivery
You choose the project that you want to support. We personally
implement the projects together with local partners and the results
can be seen on our blog.
You help take it easy on the environment
We continously strive to be as environmental friendly as possible.
This means less garbage for you and less waste overall. Our capsules
are biodegradable and our deliveries CO2-neutral.
For good coffee, you need mountains, thick, old-growth forest and a lot of patience.
The small-holder farmers need patience to carefully select and handpick
the ripe coffee cherries. That’s what they do each day during harvest time. We
also need patience to go all the way on bumpy roads to meet them and find the
best coffee beans for you.
Now, please don’t burn those beans! Our roast master in Switzerland roasts to the
first crack when the beans pop like popcorn. It brings out the flavor of chocolate,
ripe fruits and nuts. After that, he roasts just a bit more to add the body and
sweetness of Café Crème. And for Espresso, it requires that little bit more so you
get the touch of bitterness you like.
But it’s not all about you. For the farmers’ families, our coffee is a force of good.
With each package you receive, you support a farmer’s child. We ask the ones
that know best what helps: the farmers, the communities… and randomized trials
of the MIT (even if it’s as unsexy as deworming). We do it ourselves, together with
professional partners. And, you choose the goal you want to support.
The whole world boils down to your cup. Coffee is the most complex thing
humans consume. When it comes to the flavors, it has twice as much going on
as red wine, whether French press or coffee automat, whether bialetti or Nespresso
machine. The important bit is what you choose to fill in. Fresh roasted
coffee delivered to your doorstep. As often as you wish.

We love traveling all over the world. And wherever we go, we take our moka pot Mamucca with us. Thanks to her, we stayed awake when watching the magical sunrise over cappadocia landscape at five in the morning. And it was in Mamucca that we brewed the coffee we shared with the fisherman Hassan on Lalla Fatna beach in Morocco. He sometimes still calls to ask when we come back for a coffee. Last time we went to Ethiopia, Mamucca was in the backpack. Ethiopians have a thousand year old tradition of brewing their coffee – and we wanted to show them, how we do it. Now we want to bring Ethiopian coffee to you all. Just Mamucca stays at home, she is a little bit too slow.
Come around to taste our
coffee and meet us!

In December while the people in Zurich are busy searching for Christmas presents in the shopping streets, the coffee farmers in Ethiopia also go through their busiest time of the year: The strong branches of the coffee trees are over and over covered with green, yellow, and red coffee cherries. During the two months of harvest time, the smallholder producers roam their coffee forests day after day to pick the coffee cherries per hand. Ethiopia calls itself the birthland of coffee because the Arabica plant – which makes up for 60 percent of the world production of coffee – originated [...]

When we ask the people we meet at our coffee tastings around Switzerland whether they’ve ever heard of something called “Cold Brew”, most of them shake their heads. The “new” way of drinking coffee has not yet conquered Switzerland. Some newspapers wrote articles about it. And you can find it at a handful of coffee-geek-cafés – but even though the coffee giant Starbucks started selling Cold Brew in Switzerland, it’s mostly unknown to the Swiss. The Cold Brew mania started out some ten years ago in the US. Directly trading coffee roasters found a method to brew their specialty coffee [...]
